Barry Bouker
Hello my name is Barry Bouker owner of Bouker's Taxidermy. I've been creating mounts for over 20 years. It's become my passion to bring your trophy back to life and recapture the beauty of what ever l'm working on. I have competed at the state levels winning numerous awards and continue to compete learning the latest taxidermy techniques.
I'm a current member New England Association of Taxidermist and Maine Association of Taxidermist. I enjoy all aspects of the great outdoors whether it's tracking a trophy whitetail to watching the Pine Siskins and the Junco's flitting about the winter feeder to watching the woodland plants emerge in the spring to harvesting the vegetable garden. There's always something new to learn and discover.

In my younger days I spent endless hours exploring in the many brooks, meadows, bogs and woodlots observing nature and its many inhabitants. Starting in high school and into my mid to late 30's much of my time was spent running extensive traplines in the Southern Green Moutains and hills of Western Massauchusetts. I also spent later summer and early fall exploring the mountain hollows digging ginseng.
I have spent my fair share of time with a fish pole in hand, from the New England Coast to Lake Ontario and few spots in between.This accumulative time in the great outdoors has lead me to a greater appreciation of nature and its diverse ecosystems. For what it's worth I currently hold the Vermont state record for brown trout, which I caught in 1990 (my how time has a way of ticking by) and just waiting to be broken and hopefully brought to me to be brought back to life.
